Two Drunk Messes

Only in a perfect world would my boobs secrete vodka and OJ

This, my friends, is what is called a Screwdriver aka Qdriver aka The Bucket. 80% Hanoi Vodka 20% Tang, ya'all.

This, my friends, is Ray and I after a few of them. Don't be scared of his cock-eyes.

My First Durian Experience

Note: Mother in the background. What the!

I've been a hater all my life but had actually never tried it until yesterday. Now I can truly say that I detest the damn thing.

Ray and I: no make-up, no shame

This, ladies and gentleman, is the first ever self-timed photo to come from my digital camera--it was just taken a few minutes ago. What does this mean? Outfit posts is what this means. Ray has been urging me to, from time to time, post outfit pictures onto Mass Class; the idea has definitely crossed my mind but I've always been hesitant. I'll try it out and see how the response is and if it's to everyone's liking then maybe I'll continue to do it.

Outfits will be posted maybe once or twice (if I'm not lazy) a week come August. I still want to keep this a blog about all things to my liking and interest and not just strictly a fashion blog. I guess my qualms stem from the fact that this site isn't meant to be purely for fashion literature and so outfit posts don't sound too pertinent. But I guess I won't know until I try, yeah?

Phu Quoc

After spending a couple days in Saigon Raymond and I took a ferry out to a beautiful Vietnamese island called Phu Quoc and spent a few days lounging around there. I guess it's closer to Cambodia than Vietnam. We saw all sorts of sea life.

Raymond and a jellyfish made nice whilst swimming in the turquoise waters.

Note: Ray and I were inebriated the whole way through.

Our stay in sunny paradise was way too short, BUT is now extended and relocated. We just arrived to Nha Trang today, a coastal town that is easily one of the the world's most beautiful places. You'll be hearing from us again soon. Cheers.

Electroma!

A free screening at the Secret Society! Anyone in the States knows that viewing this film has been a struggle here. Yes, it is available on YouTube in 574835 parts, but now you can view it in its entirety-- as it should be viewed. Again, I'll be missing this :(

"An odyssey of two robots who journey across a mythic American landscape of haunting, surreal beauty on a quest to become human. This silent feature-length film made its international debut at the 2006 Cannes Film Festival. With its breathtaking cinematography, innovative filming techniques, and above all, its underlying search for humanity within a dystopian environment, Daft Punk have delivered a film that finds a common thread with their previous work, while exploring new horizons as directors," Jackpot Records

-DVD will be available on July 22nd in a deluxe steel package including a 40 page book.
-Large Movie Posters will be given away for free for those who preorder at the screening

Ray's First Experiences in Vietnam Caught on Video

I was fortunate enough to document a few of Raymond's firsts in Vietnam. Check it.

Last Days of China & Hong Kong

Kyle's street name, no joke.

Hey guys, Raymond and I are now reporting from Saigon. We arrived yesterday and are leaving tomorrow for the islands, man. We were rudely awakened this morning by construction work that sounded literally like it was happening at less than 3 yards from our room. To make up for lack of rest we decided to spend the latter half of our day lounging and getting to work on our videos. Here are some from the our last days in China and HK.

Cocoon Farm!

Stage 1: Larvae produced by moths chillin'

Stage 2: Pupa, when they start spinning themselves into a cocoon.

Stage 3: Cocoons! Success!

Hong Kong!
We finally made it to the last leg of our China excursion, thank god. Not only was our China tour over but we finally reunited with our dear dear friend Kyle from back home!

Kyle's been living in HK for over 3 months now so he gladly obliged to be our tour guide for the short time we were there.  The clip shows us going through Lamma Island (a short 20 min ferry ride from HK) viewing the local cuisina and finding a place that sold booze!  The people were so much laid back and the food was definitely a lot fresher than anything you could find on the Mainland.  We genuinely enjoyed our stay there but most of all we were more relieved to see a familiar face, reminding us a little of the home we are temporarily leaving behind.

One Big Happy Family. Finally.

Beijing and Xi'an!

The past few days we've been in Beijing and Xi'an. We have a few clips of our outings but would like to apologize for our video's lack of excitement. We've been following a tour and our expectations have NOT been met at all! Tours are horrible, don't ever depend on them for a good time!

Note: Expressionless faces of Beijing girls "having fun". Also, the end clip was originally a dance to a tango remix of Celine Dion's My Heart Will Go On, but the sound was not working on my computer, ugh!

With what little free time we had we decided to explore Beijing's "thrilling" nightlife. Our tour guide was nice enough to drop us off in the drinking district; we ended up meeting some peeps from the Netherlands who were able to point us in the right direction for some gak. Let's just say that our night ended at some crazy posh club with some crazy, crazy man cussing and spitting in our faces.

The Great Wall was fabulous. Reaching the top invigorated us more than we had expected. The view was breathtaking and to have had the opportunity to visit a world wonder is beyond words.

Our next stop was Xi'an. The city of Xi'an is most famous for their Terra Cotta Warriors (7,000 have been found buried underneath the city!) and their hand-crafted noodles. Our spirits were quickly uplifted upon arriving to a more friendly and less developed and polluted locale.

We're currently in Wuxi, tomorrow we're heading to Shanghai and then Hong Kong the day after. We'll be meeting up with our great friend, Kyle, and we'll have some great footage of our journey in the East by then.

Happy 4th of July, we're sad we can't be in the States to celebrate.

Farewell, ya'all. You'll be hearing from us again in Hong Kong:)

A little something spesh that I picked up... the gaymono.

Again... drunk and with love,
Ray and Khathy
